Fudgy and Delicious Brownie Bread

This rich, indulgent brownie bread delivers all the gooey decadence of your favorite brownie in a loaf that’s easy to slice and share. It comes together effortlessly and features a moist, fudgy texture dotted with melted chocolate chips—perfect for dessert or a sweet treat anytime.

Ingredients

Ingredient Amount
Unsalted butter, melted ½ cup
Granulated sugar 1 cup
Large eggs 2
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
All-purpose flour ½ cup
Unsweetened cocoa powder ⅓ cup
Baking powder ¼ teaspoon
Salt ¼ teaspoon
Semi-sweet chocolate chips ½ cup

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat and Prepare

Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

Step 2: Mix the Wet Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in the vanilla.

Step 3: Combine the Dry Ingredients

In another bowl, stir together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Step 4: Combine Wet and Dry

Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the texture tender.

Step 5: Add Chocolate Chips

Fold in the chocolate chips evenly, then pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.

Step 6: Bake

Place in the oven and bake for 45–50 minutes. When a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with a few moist crumbs, it’s done.

Step 7: Cool and Slice

Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Once fully cooled, slice and serve.
