Ingredients

  • 2 beef steaks
  • 200 grams of mushrooms
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender.
  2. Brown the steaks in a pan with butter and remove.
  3. In the same pan, add onion, garlic and mushrooms, cook until golden brown.
  4. Add the cream and cook until thickened.
  5. Serve the steaks covered with the sauce and accompany with mashed potatoes.

Notes

  • For a creamier puree, add a little milk and butter.
  • You can substitute mushrooms for button mushrooms if you prefer.
