- 500g of cooked and peeled shrimp
- 1 cup of mayonnaise
- ½ cup of ketchup
- 1 tablespoon of hot sauce (optional)
- 1 finely chopped garlic clove
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- ¼ cup chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon slices for garnish
- In a large bowl, mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, hot sauce, lemon juice, and garlic.
- Stir until you get a smooth and creamy sauce.
- Add the cooked shrimp and mix carefully.
- Add the red onion and cilantro, and mix lightly.
- Adjust with salt and pepper to taste.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve in individual glasses and garnish with lemon slices.
Notes
- Use medium-sized shrimp for better texture.
- If you add avocado, do so just before serving.
- Cool for best flavor results.
