Cloves are a spice well known for their distinctive aroma and medicinal properties.

Vinegar, in addition to being an excellent natural cleaner, has antibacterial action.

When we combine these two ingredients, we have a multifunctional homemade product, ideal for cleaning and disinfecting the home, and even as a natural repellent.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of cloves
  • 150 ml of hot water
  • 150 ml white vinegar

Grind the cloves. If you don’t have anything to grind, you can use whole cloves — just let them steep for longer.

Place the ground cloves in a bowl and add 150 ml of hot water.

Mix well and let it sit for two hours. This helps to extract all the beneficial properties of the cloves.

After this time, add the vinegar and mix again.

Strain the solution through a fine sieve or cloth to avoid clogging the spray bottle.

Transfer to spray bottle and it’s ready to use!
