Mug cake with oats, banana and cocoa

This cake is rich in fiber and is a very versatile and easy-to-prepare option.

Ingredients:

    • 1/2 cup rolled oats
    • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 mashed banana
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ bar of 70% cocoa or semisweet chocolate

Preparation method:

In a bowl, mix the oats with the milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes.

In a bowl, beat the egg with a pinch of salt until smooth.

Add the mashed banana to the egg and beat until well combined.

Add the cocoa powder and baking powder and mix until everything is well combined.

Add the oats to the remaining batter, stirring until smooth.

Divide the batter between two microwave-safe mugs.

Bake on high power for 5 to 6 minutes, or until the cake is set.

If you prefer, place in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes.

However, we recommend doubling the amount of ingredients and using a small baking dish.
