  • 2 whole eggs
  • 200g of grated cheese (standard Minas cheese or another cheese of your preference)

    Preparation Method

    1. Hydrate the Tapioca:
      • In a bowl, mix the granulated tapioca with the salt and butter.
      • Pour the boiling milk over the mixture and stir well.
      • Let the mixture rest for about 15 minutes, until the tapioca absorbs all the milk and softens.
    2. Dough Preparation:
      • Add the eggs and grated cheese to the hydrated tapioca.
      • Mix well until a smooth, firm dough forms.
    3. Modeling:
      • Grease a pan with butter.
      • Shape the dough into small balls and place them in the prepared pan.
      • If you wish, you can freeze some of the balls to bake later.
    4. To roast:
      • Preheat oven to 200°C.
