Mix garlic, cloves and cinnamon: an old grandma’s secret that almost no one knows

This combination of ingredients contains antioxidants, anti-inflammatory substances that help treat coughs.

Coughing is the body’s reaction to help eliminate inflamed secretions from the lungs and can be caused by flu, colds and/or respiratory allergies .

To alleviate this symptom, we will teach you how to make a natural tea with cloves, cinnamon and garlic.

In addition to relieving coughs , this infusion also strengthens the immune system, improves blood circulation and controls cholesterol levels.

Check out the benefits and how to prepare it!

Benefits of cloves

Cloves contain eugenol, a compound rich in anti-inflammatory properties that act on the respiratory tract.

In this way, it helps to relieve cough, chest congestion, shortness of breath, asthma, sore throat and other respiratory tract infections.

Furthermore, it is a source of potassium, a mineral that helps improve blood circulation and aids in controlling bad cholesterol (LDL) levels.

Benefits of cinnamon

Cinnamon is an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, helping to alleviate the symptoms of respiratory diseases, such as coughing, for example.

Furthermore, it acts as a natural expectorant, eliminating phlegm and mucus present in the respiratory tract.

According to a study carried out in Pakistan by the Agricultural University, cinnamon also helps control cholesterol and triglycerides.

Benefits of garlic

Garlic has antiseptic and expectorant properties and, therefore, stimulates respiratory functions .

In this way, it helps in the treatment of coughs, flu, asthma, bronchitis and other lung infections.

In addition, it has a hypotensive effect that helps improve blood circulation and also controls bad cholesterol levels.
