Potato dumplings with teriyaki sauce and Greek salad

Here’s how to prepare potatoes in a different way that everyone will love. Anyone can make this creative yet delicious recipe.

You’ll want to eat it every day!

Ingredients:

    • 1 kg of coarsely chopped potatoes
    • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
    • 50 g butter
    • 1 chopped onion
    • 3 cloves of minced garlic
    • 1/2 chopped chili pepper
    • 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
    • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
    • 100 ml soy sauce
    • 2 cucumbers, sliced
    • 250 g chopped cherry tomatoes
    • 1 red pepper, chopped
    • 100 g chopped feta cheese
  • 150 g olives
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Extra virgin olive oil to taste

Preparation method:

Cook the chopped potatoes in boiling water until tender, then drain, mash well and transfer to a bowl.

Add the cornstarch and mix until incorporated, forming a smooth dough.

Shape the potato dough into small balls. Gently press the spout of a plastic bottle onto the balls to give them a more defined shape.

In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the butter and sauté the chopped onion for 2 to 3 minutes until soft and translucent.

Add the minced garlic and chopped chili pepper, sautéing for another 1 to 2 minutes.

Pour the teriyaki sauce, vinegar, and soy sauce into the skillet. Stir well to combine.

Place the potato balls in the pan with the teriyaki sauce and cook for 5 minutes.

Turn the balls over and cook for another 5 minutes to absorb the sauce.

Remove the balls from the pan and set aside.

In a large bowl, combine sliced ​​cucumbers, chopped cherry tomatoes, chopped red pepper, chopped feta cheese, and olives.
