Honey Garlic Shrimp Stir-Fry with Broccoli .
Ingredients:
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cups broccoli florets
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Cooked jasmine rice, for serving
Sesame seeds and chopped green onions, for garnish
Directions:
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
In a separate small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water until smooth; set both mixtures aside.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger; sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, or until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
In the same pan, add broccoli florets and a splash of water. Cover and steam for 3–4 minutes until bright green and slightly tender.
Pour in the honey garlic sauce, stir well, then add the cornstarch slurry. Cook for 1–2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss everything together until well coated and heated through.
Serve hot over jasmine rice, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
