Flourless One Minute Microwave Bread in a Jar

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup (240 ml) milk
  • 2 tablespoons flax seeds
  • 2 tablespoons psyllium husk

Step by Step to Make Bread in a Jar

1: Beat the Eggs

  • Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl and whisk until fully blended light and frothy is best.

2: Add Milk

  • Pour in the milk and continue whisking until the mixture is uniform and smooth.

3: Mix in the Seeds

  • Add the flax seeds and psyllium. Stir gently to ensure even distribution throughout the liquid.

4: Let It Thicken

  • Let the mixture rest for about 3-5 minutes. The psyllium and flax will begin to absorb the liquid and create a thick, batter like texture.

5: Pour and Microwave

  • Transfer the thickened batter into a microwave safe glass jar or mug. Fill only halfway to prevent overflow.
  • Microwave on high for 1 minute. Depending on the power of your microwave, you might need an extra 10-15 seconds.

6: Cool and Serve

  • Let the jar cool for 1-2 minutes before handling. You can eat it straight from the jar, or remove it and slice for toast style servings.
