Step by Step to Make Bread in a Jar
1: Beat the Eggs
- Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl and whisk until fully blended light and frothy is best.
2: Add Milk
- Pour in the milk and continue whisking until the mixture is uniform and smooth.
3: Mix in the Seeds
- Add the flax seeds and psyllium. Stir gently to ensure even distribution throughout the liquid.
4: Let It Thicken
- Let the mixture rest for about 3-5 minutes. The psyllium and flax will begin to absorb the liquid and create a thick, batter like texture.
5: Pour and Microwave
- Transfer the thickened batter into a microwave safe glass jar or mug. Fill only halfway to prevent overflow.
- Microwave on high for 1 minute. Depending on the power of your microwave, you might need an extra 10-15 seconds.
6: Cool and Serve
- Let the jar cool for 1-2 minutes before handling. You can eat it straight from the jar, or remove it and slice for toast style servings.
