Don’t fry potatoes anymore, do it this way! New recipe in 5 minutes. Oh my gosh, how delicious!

A quick and healthy way to make potatoes that will win over your taste buds.

French fries are one of the most popular snacks in the world, but the traditional method of frying them requires a large amount of oil, which can be harmful to your health.

With that in mind, we present a practical and quick way to prepare crispy, tasty and much lighter potatoes, using the oven, the air fryer or even a frying pan with a little oil.

With this technique, you can enjoy the classic flavor of fries without sacrificing a healthier diet and saving time in the kitchen.

This recipe is perfect for those who want to reduce their fat intake, make preparation easier, or simply enjoy a lighter version without losing the pleasure of the food.

Let’s learn how to prepare this easy recipe in just a few minutes?

Ingredients:

    • 3 medium potatoes
    • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
    • 2 teaspoons mayonnaise
    • 1 to 1.5 tablespoons of wheat flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 50g grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Olive oil (optional, to finish)
  • Ketchup (to accompany)

Preparation method:

Wash the potatoes well, peel them and cut them into thin strips.

Then soak them in water for about 10 minutes to reduce the starch.

Then, dry them completely with a clean cloth or paper towel.

In a large bowl, combine the potatoes with the salt, pepper, paprika, and vegetable oil, stirring well so that all the pieces are evenly seasoned.

Add the mayonnaise and mix again. Then sprinkle in the flour and stir until the potatoes are completely coated.

Distribute the potatoes on a baking sheet, avoiding crowding them (you can also use an air fryer or a non-stick frying pan).

Bake in a preheated oven at 225°C for approximately 25 minutes.

Remove the potatoes from the oven, sprinkle the grated Parmesan on top and bake for another 10 minutes to brown.

Extra tips

    • The drier the potatoes are before baking, the crispier they will be.
    • For an even faster and lighter version, use an air fryer.
    • A drizzle of extra virgin olive oil at the end adds a special and tasty touch.
  • Serve with ketchup or your favorite sauce.
