🛒 Ingredients
Wet Ingredients
3 large eggs
2 ripe bananas (for natural sweetness)
3 tbsp melted butter or coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients
1 cup oat powder (blend oats into a fine powder) — not flour
1½ tsp baking powder
1 tbsp cocoa powder (optional for chocolate flavor)
¼ tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Optional Natural Sweeteners
(Choose one if you want it sweeter)
1–2 tbsp honey
OR 1–2 tbsp maple syrup
OR 4–5 dates blended into paste
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Prepare the Batter
Mash the bananas until smooth.
Add eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Add oat powder, baking powder, cocoa powder, cinnamon, and salt.
Mix until smooth — batter will be thick but pourable.
2. Prepare the Pan
Place a non-stick pan or deep skillet on low heat.
Grease lightly with butter or oil.
Place a baking paper circle or a small heat-safe plate inside for even cooking.
(This prevents burning at the bottom.)
3. Cook the Cake on the Stove
Pour the batter into the greased pan.
Cover with a lid — very important for steaming!
Cook on low heat for 25–30 minutes until the center is firm.
Insert a toothpick — if it comes out clean, the cake is ready.
4. Cool & Serve
Let the cake cool completely before slicing.
Drizzle with honey or melted dark chocolate (optional but delicious!).
Top with fruit, nuts, or yogurt.
⭐ Tips for Perfect Stovetop Cake
Always cook on low heat to prevent burning.
If the top is too pale, flip the cake for 3–4 minutes.
Add crushed nuts or chocolate chips for extra flavor.
For a lighter cake, whip egg whites separately and fold them in.
