  2. In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add buttermilk, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
  4. Stir in hot coffee (batter will be thin – that’s okay).
  5. Divide batter into pans and bake 30–35 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool completely before assembling.

2. Make the Nougat Filling

  1. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Stir in sugar and evaporated milk. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in marshmallow fluff. Mix well.
  4. Fold in chopped peanuts. Let cool slightly.

3. Make the Caramel Sauce

  1. In a heavy-bottom saucepan, heat sugar over medium heat, stirring until melted and amber in color.
  2. Add butter and whisk until melted.
  3. Slowly pour in cream, whisking continuously until smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in salt. Let cool.

4. Make the Ganache

  1. Heat cream in a saucepan until just simmering.
  2. Pour over chocolate chips in a bowl. Let sit 2 minutes.
  3. Whisk until smooth and glossy.

5. Assemble the Cake

  1. Place one chocolate cake layer on a serving plate.
  2. Spread with nougat filling. Drizzle with caramel sauce.
  3. Place second cake layer on top.
  4. Pour ganache over the top, letting it drip down the sides.
  5. Garnish with chopped peanuts, caramel drizzle, and Snickers chunks.

6. Serve

  • Chill for 30 minutes before slicing for cleaner cuts.
  • Serve slightly warm or at room temperature.
