With affordable ingredients and detailed step-by-step instructions, you’ll win over the whole family’s taste buds.

Ingredients:

    • 1 tablespoon of dry yeast
    • 60 g softened butter
    • 500 g wheat flour
    • 270 ml of warm water
    • 3 tablespoons of powdered milk
    • 3 tablespoons of sugar
    • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg

Preparation method:

In a bowl, beat the egg until the yolk and white are well mixed.

Gradually add the warm water—it should be at the ideal temperature, similar to baby bottle water, to activate the yeast without killing it.

Add the softened butter to the egg and water mixture and stir well until completely incorporated.

Mix the sugar until it is completely dissolved in the liquid mixture.

In another bowl, combine the wheat flour, salt and powdered milk, stirring well to combine.

Add the dry yeast to the liquid mixture and stir until completely dissolved.

Add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients and start mixing with a fork to prevent the flour from clumping.

When the dough starts to form, use your hands to knead it until you get a smooth, even texture.

Knead the dough for approximately 10 minutes. This process is essential for developing the gluten, ensuring a soft, elastic bread with the perfect texture after baking.

Shape the dough and place it in a bowl lightly dusted with flour to prevent sticking.

Cover with a clean cloth and let it rest for about 30 minutes, or until the dough doubles in size.

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and divide into eight equal pieces.

Roll out each piece with a rolling pin until it is very thin, making it easier to make the bread uniform and fluffy.

Gently roll each piece of dough, sealing the ends to prevent them from opening during cooking.

Arrange the loaves on a greased and floured baking sheet, leaving space between them for them to rise. Cover and let rise for another 15 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 150ÂşC and bake the breads for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and, if desired, brush the buns with butter for a shiny, flavorful finish.
