Ingredients:
-
- 2 (or more) fish fillets of your choice
- 3 cloves of garlic
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 1 tablespoon chipotle chili sauce (optional)
For the salad:
-
- Chopped cabbage to taste
- Tomatoes to taste (cherry or other type)
- Onion to taste
- Spinach to taste (optional)
- Grated carrot to taste
- 2 tablespoons of vinegar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon salt
Preparation method:
In a blender or mortar and pestle, prepare the fish seasoning mixture. Mash the garlic with the salt, black pepper, oregano, and the juice of half a lemon.
If desired, add chipotle chili sauce and mix until smooth.
Using a brush, spread this paste on both sides of the fillets, ensuring they are well seasoned.
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan and fry the fillets over medium heat, browning them and keeping them juicy, to your liking.
Tip:Â Turn the fillet only once to prevent it from breaking.
While the fish cooks, prepare a simple salad with onions, tomatoes, and cabbage, seasoned with vinegar, lemon, and salt. If desired, add spinach or grated carrots for a special touch.
Serve the fillet with salad, adding a few drops of lemon to enhance the flavor.
This is a healthy, quick and delicious option, perfect for varying your menu, especially for those who avoid meat or chicken.
