Delicious and wheat-free! Low-carb bread ideal for diabetics!

Learn how to make delicious bread without wheat flour, ideal for diabetics.

If you’re looking for a healthy, tasty bread option that fits perfectly into low-carb diets or for those with diabetes, this recipe is for you!

Today, I’m going to teach you how to make a fluffy low-carb bread, with zero wheat flour and very easy to make.

It’s light, tasty, and perfect for breakfast, a snack, or as an accompaniment to everyday meals. Let’s get to the recipe!

Ingredients:

    • 4 eggs
    • 1 cup (tea) of filtered water
    • 1/4 cup olive oil
    • 1 cup flaxseed meal
    • 1 tablespoon of baking powder (Royal type)
    • Seasonings to taste (oregano, dried parsley and paprika)
    • Salt to taste
  • Sesame (optional)

Tip:

Avoid buying pre-ground flaxseed meal, as it oxidizes easily and can make recipes bitter. Instead, buy the seeds and grind them fresh using a food processor or blender.

Preparation method:

Beat the eggs until lightly foamy. Add the filtered water, olive oil, seasonings, and salt. Mix well.

Add the flaxseed meal. The dough may seem very soft at first, but keep mixing until it becomes firmer and more consistent.

Add the baking powder and mix lightly.

Transfer the dough to a greased and floured pan. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top, if desired.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.

This bread rises significantly in the oven. If you use a 20cm x 10cm pan, it will turn out perfectly.

The result is a fluffy, not crumbly, and very tasty bread. You can cut it into slices, freeze it separately, and eat it little by little.

Another delicious suggestion: cut into thin slices, spread butter on both sides, and bake or air fry for crispy toast. It’s delicious!
