Chicken wings are a classic dish around the world, but in Spain, families have discovered a way to prepare them that is both delicious and healthy.

When you roast them, the flavor is intensified and the texture becomes irresistible, all without the need for frying.

Let’s learn how to make this easy and tasty recipe, perfect for sharing with the family.

Ingredients:

    • 1.8 kg of chicken wings
    • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon paprika
    • 1 tablespoon herbs (of your choice)
    • 1 teaspoon turmeric
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 3 cloves of garlic , minced
  • 3 tablespoons of oil
  • 5 large potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried garlic
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion

    Preparation method:

    1. Preparing the Wings :
      • Preheat oven to 200°C.
      • Cut the chicken wings into three parts, discarding the tip or reserving it to make broth.
      • Place the wings in a resealable plastic bag.
      • Add the soy sauce, paprika, herbs, turmeric, salt, minced garlic and oil to the bag.
      • Close the bag and mix the wings with the seasonings. Let marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour to absorb the flavors.
    2. Preparing the Potatoes :
      • Peel and cut the potatoes into slices.
      • Arrange the potatoes on a baking sheet.
      • Season with dried garlic, black pepper, dried rosemary and olive oil. Mix well to ensure the potatoes are flavorful.
      • Bake the potatoes in a preheated oven at 200°C for 25 minutes.
    3. Roasting the Wings and Potatoes :
        • Cut the onion into rings and place them on top of the potatoes in the baking dish.
      • Remove the wings from the refrigerator and place them on a baking rack, positioning it over the baking sheet with the potatoes. This allows the juices from the wings to drip onto the potatoes, intensifying the flavor.
      • Bake everything together for another 15-20 minutes, until the wings are golden brown and cooked through.
    4. Serving :
      • Remove from the oven and serve hot.
      • Serve with a fresh salad for a complete and balanced meal.

        Tips:

          • If you want a spicier touch, add a pinch of chili powder to the wing marinade.
        • This recipe is ideal for family gatherings or to enjoy during a football game with friends.

With this Spanish-style preparation technique, your chicken wings will take on a new level of flavor and texture.
