- 2Â beef steaks
- 200 grams of mushrooms
- 1Â small onion
- 2Â cloves of garlic
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 2Â tablespoons of butter
- 4Â medium potatoes
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender.
- Brown the steaks in a pan with butter and remove.
- In the same pan, add onion, garlic and mushrooms, cook until golden brown.
- Add the cream and cook until thickened.
- Serve the steaks covered with the sauce and accompany with mashed potatoes.
Notes
- For a creamier puree, add a little milk and butter.
- You can substitute mushrooms for button mushrooms if you prefer.
