- 1 cup of grated cheese
- 2 cups of wheat flour
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 cup of cold water
- 1 beaten egg (for brushing)
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, mix the flour and salt.
- Add the butter and cheese, and mix until you get a uniform dough.
- Gradually add the cold water until the dough no longer sticks to your hands.
- Stretch the dough and cut strips of the desired size.
- Brush the strips with beaten egg.
- Place the sticks on a baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

- For extra flavor, add dried herbs such as basil or oregano to the mixture.
