π Ingredients
- 300 g codfish fillets (fresh or soaked salted cod)
- 2 medium potatoes, boiled & mashed
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley or coriander, chopped
- Β½ tsp black pepper
- Β½ tsp paprika
- Salt (only if using fresh cod)
- 2β3 tbsp breadcrumbs (optional, for binding)
- Oil for frying

1οΈβ£ Prepare the Codfish
- Fresh cod: Boil for 5β7 minutes until cooked, then flake.
- Salted cod: Soak overnight (change water 2β3 times), then boil and flake.
Remove all bones carefully.
2οΈβ£ Make the Mixture
- In a bowl, combine flaked cod and mashed potatoes.
- Add onion, garlic, egg, parsley, pepper, and paprika.
- Mix well until combined.
- If mixture feels soft, add breadcrumbs.

- Form small round or oval patties.
- Slightly flatten them for even cooking.

- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
