🌿 Ingredients
-
1 cup hot water (not boiling, around 80°C / 176°F)
-
1 teaspoon organic moringa leaves or moringa powder
-
1 teaspoon high-quality green tea or matcha powder
-
1 teaspoon honey (optional, for sweetness)
-
1 slice fresh lemon or 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
-
A few mint leaves (optional, for aroma)
👩🍳 Preparation
-
Boil water and let it cool slightly for a minute or two.
(Boiling water can destroy delicate antioxidants in green tea and moringa.) -
Add the moringa leaves or powder into a teapot or cup. Pour the hot water over it and let it steep for 5–7 minutes.
-
If you’re using green tea or matcha, add it after steeping the moringa and stir well to blend.
-
Add lemon juice or a fresh lemon slice. The vitamin C in lemon enhances the absorption of antioxidants from green tea and moringa.
-
Sweeten lightly with honey if desired. Avoid adding honey to very hot water to preserve its nutrients.
-
Stir gently and enjoy warm.
