Ingredients
- 1 lb 450g ground sausage (mild or spicy)
- 8 oz 225g cream cheese, softened and cubed
- 2 cups 200g shredded cheese (cheddar works great, or cheddar + mozzarella blend)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven
- Preheat to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- Cook the Sausage
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked.
- Break it apart with a spoon as it cooks.
- Drain excess grease if needed.
- Add Cream Cheese
- Reduce heat to low.
- Add cubed cream cheese to the skillet.
- Stir until melted and fully combined with the sausage.
- Assemble
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
- Spread evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
- Bake
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until hot and bubbly and the top is lightly golden.
