Oatmeal and apple cookies
These cookies are very nutritious, healthy and easy to prepare as they are ready in minutes.
Ingredients:
-
- 2 apples
- 50 ml of water
- 1 cup of oats
- 50 g almonds
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Cranberry or blackberry to finish
Preparation method:
Peel the apples, remove the seeds, cut into small pieces and place in a blender (or food processor).
Add 50 ml of water and blend until a smooth, consistent puree forms.
Clean the blender (or food processor) and grind the almonds with the rolled oats until they form a fine flour.
Transfer the flour to a bowl, add the applesauce, vanilla essence, and melted butter.
Mix well until you get a uniform and consistent dough.
Next, grease a baking tray, preferably one suitable for baking cookies, and pour the dough into each compartment.
This shape is similar to that of cheese bread, but instead of the divisions being round, they are rectangular.
If you don’t have one, distribute the dough portions on a conventional baking sheet and shape the cookies to the desired size, leaving space between them.
Place two dried cranberries on top of each cookie and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown and firm.
