🐟 Mediterranean Garlic Lemon Shrimp (Skillet Style)

🌿 Ingredients

  • 500g (1 lb) shrimp, peeled & deveined

  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • 1 tsp lemon zest (optional but great flavor!)

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • Salt & black pepper — to taste

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • Optional: 1 tbsp butter for richer flavor


👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prep Shrimp

  • Pat dry the shrimp with a paper towel

  • Season lightly with salt, pepper & paprika

2️⃣ Cook

  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat

  • Add garlic → sauté 30 seconds (don’t let it burn)

  • Add shrimp & oregano → cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink

3️⃣ Finish with Flavor

  • Add lemon juice & zest

  • Toss to coat evenly

  • Add parsley & remove from heat

4️⃣ Serve

Best served immediately while still juicy!
